Our Service

Here at Plumb and Rabbitts Cake Studio we specialise in bespoke luxury cakes. We love creating cakes that are about design and cookery!

Our art and design experience and our wedding industry knowledge means you can trust your unique and personalised cake will look spectacular on your special day. We work closely with you making your wedding/celebration cake planning fun, simple and pain-free.

We pride ourselves on our finely detailed work and application of design. Rather than using standard imported flowers, all of our beautiful sugar flowers are made by hand in-house.

 

Consultations

As we are in the throws of our busy season we are currently offering e-consults only. This entails a yummy cake taster box with our signature flavours and as many emails and calls needed to make sure your design is as stunning as you want it to be!

Booking times

We advise booking 6 to 12 months in advance for your wedding cake and 2 to 4 weeks for a celebration cake.

We occasionally have last-minute free slots so please do contact us to double-check, even if you feel it may be too late to book.

 

Payments and Deposits

We require a deposit of £200 to book your wedding cake and £100 to book a celebration cake. The final balance is due 4 weeks before the due date for your wedding cake. For celebration cakes it is due two weeks before delivery.

Information on how to pay your deposit and final balance will be sent to you with your invoice.

Please note – Apologies but if you do not pay your full remaining balance on the date it is due according to your invoice,  I cannot not create your cake for you. No final payment equal no cake. 

 

Cancellations

Should you cancel your order 4 weeks prior to your order date, your deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel after the 4 weeks we regret that the full balance will be charged.

 

Delivery and Set Up

we offer free delivery within a 20 mile radius of Alnwick. For deliveries further than this please contact us to get an individual costing. We also don’t charge for setting up your cake!

 

Collection

Should you wish to collect your order from us, we will provide you with full transport, assembly and storage instructions if required. Please note that once collected, the full responsibility for the safety of the order is with the client and Plumb & Rabbitts Cake Studio is not liable for any damages thereafter.
